late spring pruning

Hey All,

Got my orchard planted two weeks ago. Whew. With all the activity some important things got left behind. A fair percentage of the trees didn't get pruned or headed back when they were planted so I'm trying to catch up now (between getting water to them--it's been unbelievably dry) even though leaves are popping out on most of the varieties. I'm concerned about exposing the tree to disease but I'm getting around with a effective microbe spray to try to colonize the wounds. Should I just stop heading back and pruning feathers all together or keep doing what I've been doing?
