It's that time of the year, where I wish:
1. I would have done summer pruning.
2. I would have bought a small washing machine for my apples.
Basically most of my apples from my older trees have a lot of FlySpeck and Soothy Blotch, even though if I spray a few times for it....We sell to 5-7 stores in the area and few more in NYC, so we need to clean the apples!!
So my question is, for an orchard my size(800-1000 trees), what would be the best move going forward? small washing machine(where to buy it?) or is there an economical labor way to clean apples manually?
Thank you.
