Does wind chill affect blossoms ?

Does wind chill affect blossoms ?

We have a freeze warning for tonight. The "real" temperature is forecasted to be 32 but wind chill in the low 20s because of high winds and gusts up to 40mph which is so typical around here - our house shakes and rattles from all this wind.

When we start talking about cold temperatures, do I care about wind chill or just the real temperature?

Thanks so much!

It is the "real" temperature that counts.
The "wind chill" is an invention of the meteo men. It is sort of an equivalent temperature that would produce the same heat loss per surface area on naked skin.
But what counts for plants is temperature, heat loss is irrelevant.
