John Bunker let me know that Dan Bussey's book, The Illustrated History of Apples in the US and Canada, is now for sale for $150. If you do not have it, now is the time to get it. Most of you know that it's the most complete book of apple descriptions ever written. If you do have it, buy a copy for a growing friend or your community library.

Please pass along this info to others who may be interested.

$150 for the set of 7 hard cover books. Available via phone from JAKKAW press: 844 567 5888.

This 7 volume set of books is a real keepsake. I am a big fan of hardcovers when it is a book you expect to read and to utilize many times over and over. Love the depth of reference knowledge put forth here . . . This set of 7 will not disappoint.

The phone number definitely works well but, for those of you placing your order after hours or over a weekend, you might also try the online ordering site that has been set up for this awesome offering.

The publisher says they are not planning another printing after these initial units are sold out. . . . so go ahead and give yourself the gift that will keep on giving.

Happy apple immersion everyone!

Thanks for the tip. I ordered a set and they just arrived—beautiful, beautiful books. The apples equivalent or better of Audubon’ birds. And a perfect time to get caught up on some reading, “If not now, (during a pandemic), then when?”
