Asian pear Scion Wood

Hello,
We are finding that our customers can't get enough Asian Pears. We currently have Chojuro and Nijisseiki. We would like to expand into other varieties but have a hard time finding scion wood. We have an excessive amount of Chojuro trees and would like to do some top working.

Also, is anyone using Asian pears in a cider blend?

Thanks for any leads!

We have 'Shinko' and 'Korean Giant,' if you're interested in scionwood from either of those. If you'd be interested in just doing a straight-up swap, we'd love to get some of your 'Chojuro' and 'Nijisseiki.' If you're interested, you can email us at cheers@kordickfamilyfarm.com to give us your address, let us know how much you'd like and when, etc.

We do press our Asian pears for cider, mostly they are so juicy and provide a lot of volume. They do tend to be saucy, so depending on your press setup, may or may not be desirable.
