Has anyone used leafy spurge in a tea? It has a milky sap and is suspected to have allellopathic properties. The plant can be toxic to some animals but I see that there is cancer fighting properties in some constituents of the sap, the diterpene esters. I am not yet well versed on all things spray and how this might impact an insect or disease cycle. Any thoughts on this? Is this a plant to avoid even putting in the compost, or a boon to be utilized in a spray at a particular time? Ive got a ton of it to experiment with or otherwise try to eradicate.
